Senior researcher in art history
From March 2017 I’m senior researcher at the University of Salerno.
From March 2014 I have been junior researcher at the University of Salerno, responsible of research unit with the project financed by MIUR prot. RBFR13UKLM entitled "The Orsini and Savelli in Papal Rome. Patronage and Arts of Ancient Families from Feudalism to the European Baroque Courts” based at the Department of Cultural Heritage Sciences (DISPAC). At the same institution I held the teaching of History of Modern Art in the academic year 2016-2017 and the Laboratory of History of Modern Art in the academic years 2014-2015 and 2015-2016. At the same time I held the teaching of The Industry of the Baroque: Painters and Sculptors in Relation to Patronage (Theory of Art and Architecture) at the Institute of Theory and History of Art and Architecture (ISA), the Mendrisio Academy of Architecture of the University of Switzerland Italian (USI) in the academic years 2014-2015, 2015-2016, 2016-2017.
In 2014 I have been licensed with the National Academic Qualification as Associate Professor in the History of Art
From March 2011 I have been contract research fellow at the Swiss Italian University-Academy of Architecture at Mendrisio for the research project organized by the Swiss National Research Fund «Giacomo, Giovanni Battista and Pier Francesco Mola: Interaction, networking and ascent of a Swiss Italian family of artists in Baroque Rome» (until 31 October 2013). In 2011 I was an award-holder at the Fondazione Ermitage Italia.
In 2010 I was awarded my doctorate in Art History at La Sapienza University of Rome with the thesis «I Caetani di Sermoneta, strategie politiche e storia artistica tra Roma e l'Europa nel Seicento». I organized a seminar devoted to the Display of Art in Roman Palaces in the Long 17th Century (1550-1750) (Sapienza University of Rome-Getty Research Institute of Los Angeles). From 2009 I have been collaborator of the Institute République des Lettres-Respublica Literaria UPS 3285 of the CNRS in Paris. In the same year I was member of the research group for the Progetto di Ateneo Federato by La Sapienza University of Rome entitled «Artisti e opere in viaggio in età moderna. Collezionismo, commerci e dispersione di opere d'arte nello stato della Chiesa» (prot. C26F09NP2F). I took part in the Workshop Display of Art in Roman Palaces in the Long 17th Century (1550-1750) (Getty Research Institute of Los Angeles-American Academy at Rome). From 2008 I was teaching assistant in the History of Modern Art at the La Sapienza University in Rome; In 2008 I participated at the Conference on Marcello Bacciarelli pittore di Sua Maestà Stanislao Augusto Re di Polonia, (Polish Academy of the Sciences in Rome). In 2004 I participated as an award holder at the Master’s Seminar in Art History (Istituto Veneto di Scienze, Lettere ed Arti and by the École du Louvre). In 2003 I was awarded first class bachelor’s degree at Rome’s La Sapienza University with the thesis «La Collezione del cardinale Giulio Raimondo Mazzarino (1602-1661)».
